Terms of service
By paying for a product or service with BettBakes, I understand and agree to all of BettBakes’ terms and conditions outlined below.
I agree to release and hold harmless BettBakes and their officers, employees and agents, from and against any and all claims and/or liability for any injury suffered while I participate in a BettBakes event/class/service.
I understand that my participation in any event/class/service is voluntary. I recognize and understand that culinary classes have inherent risks and hazards and that my participation is solely at my own risk, and that I assume full responsibility for any resulting injuries, illnesses, and damages.
Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Policy: Event / Class / Service
Non-Refundable. All purchases are final and non-refundable.
Fees for an event/class/service must be paid in advance. BettBakes cannot confirm your space without full payment.
- Once paid in full, you will receive an email with information on how to schedule your event/class/service.
- You must schedule your event/class/service within 90 days of payment, unless arrangements have been agreed to in writing with BettBakes. Spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
- If you do not schedule your event/class/service within 90 days of payment, you forfeit your fee and your spot.
- If you are unable to attend your scheduled event/class/service, you may request to change to another date--one time only--if you provide at least 24 hours notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
If you have not received an email to schedule your event/class/service within 72 hours of payment or you need additional support with scheduling, contact bettbakes@gmail.com as soon as possible.
BettBakes is not liable for any third-party costs.
Scheduling and Inclement Weather: Event / Class / Service
All sessions start and end on time. If you are late, the event/class/service will still end on time. Your session will not be prorated, and no refund will be issued in these instances.
BettBakes will not issue a refund due to an unexpected cancellation outside of BettBakes’ control. This includes closures due to inclement weather, emergencies, venue cancellations, outages, or another unexpected closure. BettBakes will attempt to reschedule a canceled event/class/service for a later date.
In the unlikely scenario that BettBakes cannot proceed with an event/class/service, BettBakes reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any event/class/service. If rescheduling is not an option and BettBakes decides to cancel, a refund will be offered (all refunds are made to the source of the initial payment).
Age requirements and requests for accommodations: Event / Class / Service
Unless specifically requested otherwise, BettBakes events/classes/services are for an adult audience. Younger students may be permitted in events/classes/services, if discussed and then arranged ahead of time with BettBakes. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event/class/service.
Please contact bettbakes@gmail.com at least one week prior to the event/class/service with requests for specific accommodations.
Refund Policy: Books
Non-Refundable. Except as noted in this policy, all purchases are final.
Damaged In Transit. If your book was damaged in transit, contact me with a clear description of the damage and photographs of the damage attached. Claims must be submitted in writing within 5 (five) calendar days of the delivery date.
Manufacturing Defects. If any part of your book contains significant manufacturing defects, write me a clear description of the issue with photographs of the issue attached. Claims must be submitted in writing within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the date of delivery.
Books with minor manufacturing issues (e.g. minor misalignment) that are reasonably foreseeable and commonplace risks when buying books will not be replaced.
Copyright
All books, content, and materials created by BettBakes are copyrighted and remain the property of BettBakes and Elizebett Eslinger. You must have written consent from BettBakes to distribute or publish any content, videos, or materials.

Right to refuse service
BettBakes reserves the right to refuse service for any legal reason including, but not limited to, scheduling conflicts; anyone breaching these terms & conditions; or anyone demonstrating conduct that BettBakes deems disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate.
Updates to terms and conditions
