Saturday was going to be the first session of my Great British Baking Class. Ever since the class was cancelled, I've been craving ways to connect with people through baking. And, since more of us are using our ovens these days...I've decided to organize a bake-off online!
This bake-off is for anyone that wants to participate in a laid-back, good-natured, and supportive baking challenge. Here's how it will work:
- complete the brief
- post 1 picture of your bake on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, along with
- max 20-word description (or poem!) about your bake
- tag @bettbakes
- include #baking and #bakeonline1 in your post
A photo of the winning bake will be posted after the live event. In addition to earning bragging rights, the winner will be awarded the title of "Stellar Baker."
This is meant to be good-humored and fun! If there's interest, I hope to continue doing this regularly to bring a little light and joy in these uncertain times.
